There’s a secret colour-combo war brewing up on the streets. There’s a lot on stake whether or not to step out with that old black and neutrals or recreate some daring order to make every heads turn. Well, they say it takes two to tango. It’s not about any colour-code but how effectively you carry out different combinations in the space where probably each one will already have some opinions about you. So, we pick out perfect combination of colours for you to get out in the open and prove that it takes two to get that perfect combo look.
Purple and Green
They are on the opposite side of the colour wheel but will still get you the perfect un-matching look. You got to be rebellious this time, especially after Pantone has officially announced that this ultraviolet shade is the colour of the year. The combination was best seen on the Victoria Beckham, Gucci and Mulberry SS18 catwalks. You can even opt for emerald or mint green in the form of shoes or accessories.
Pink and Red
These two shades reflect a sense of cosiness and affection. Much loved by the fashion insiders who have sent their models down the runway with this colour combo and continues to do so. Recently, we got a glimpse of this order on the runways at Miu Miu, Prada and Brandon Maxwell, where pink pieces where glorified with doses of scarlet.
Salmon and Yellow
A couple of years back, Yellow was everywhere from runways to street styles. They have come back but with little force as salmon pink has force its way into the style. It was rightly combined in pale coral styled with bright-yellow bags shown from Roksanda’s collection.
